Motivational Maps at Benefit Plus

What motivates us at Benefit Plus? How are the individual teams doing?

How to make people happier at work? By directing them to areas that drive them. Motivational maps are the way to go. They divide motivation into three main areas based on what is important to a person – relationships, growth, or performance – and then into specific motivators.

In spring, we tried this technique as well. Individual teams underwent training and filled out questionnaires.

The result? “The predominant area of motivation at Benefit Plus is growth. This is clearly visible in the Marketing, IT and Carboneg departments. By contrast, the Customer Center and Back Office teams draw their energy from relationships. A greater variety of motivation factors can be found in the Partner Department and ACM with performance as the main driving force”, explains HR manager Majka Rajdlová who led the training.

“The average motivation of our teams is in the so-called Optimal Zone, which is an excellent result and we at Benefit Plus are very proud of it. Now, we have an even more difficult task of maintaining such high motivation among our colleagues,” she adds with a smile.
