For the first time ever, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs increased the meal allowance issued for business trips effective in the course of the year, resulting in a higher value of meal vouchers.
n June 2022, prices in public dining facilities increased by 20.19%, exceeding the statutory limit of 20%. For this reason, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs increased the meal allowance for business trips.
As of August 20, 2022, the highest value of the meal allowance will add up to CZK 142 per day, which will increase the most tax-optimal value of the meal voucher to CZK 180.
